Tails on the Trails
Saturday, August 15th 2009
Lenexa Parks and Recreation, in conjunction with the Lenexa Animal Control, will sponsor a day to celebrate pets. Tails on the Trails combines the popular Children’s Pet Fair and the Annual Puppy Swims, so kids bring your pet to compete in the pet/owner look-a-like contest, or take Fido swimming. In addition, there will be a variety of pet vendors, exhibits and demonstrations.
The Heart of America Humane Society will have a booth at this event. Volunteers will be handling adoptable animals and handing out information about our organisation.
