This annual event was originally launched by the Lakewood Animal Health Clinic as a way to raise money to help support the adoption activities of HAHS.
Key Events
The 5K Run at 8:00am: a circular route through the scenic Lakewood subdivision in northern Lee's Summit; a route map is available.
 The 1-mile Walk at 9:00am: an owner and one on-leash pet can stroll through Lakewood on a course picked for its ease of travel; a route map is available.
Registration is required if you plan to participate in the Run or Walk. Go to the online registration at active.com and complete your entry with a credit card.
You can also register for $25 at the main table beginning at 7:00am on Run day.
Silent Auction!
Participants bid on items donated from local businesses and animal supporters from around the KC area. The winner gets their item by pledging the most donation!

Contests!
Our carnival "barker" will invite you to "step right up and take a chance" with your lucky dog, or your dog Lucky!
Game registration begins at 7:00am with events starting around 9:45. Be one of the participants in AMAZING tests of skill, endurance, and shameless public displays of affection like:
- Best Kisser -- Bella
- Best Costume -- Scotty T
- Best Owner Look Alike -- Scotty T
- Best Trick -- Penny
- Largest Dog -- Bella
- Smallest Dog -- Sophie
- Loudest Barker -- Windy

As in years past, the D.O.G. Obedience and Agility Group will set up and offer agility demos and clinics!
You can confer with regional rescues and/or local shelter personnel who can help network with you or provide additional resources for adoption, care or training. |
