Silent Auction
Picnic goers will be able to bid on items donated from local businesses and animal supporters from around the KC area. The winner gets their item by pledging the most donation!
Pet Contest
Be one of the participants in AMAZING tests of skill, endurance, and shameless public displays of affection like:

- Best Costume
- Best Trick
- Most Obedient

*IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING PIT BULLS & PIT BULL MIXES!
Overland Park Animal Control has informed us that pit bulls/pit bull mixes are not permitted in Overland Park, and they will visit the picnic to issue citations to owners of these breeds or shut down the event. Because of this, while Heart of America Humane Society has and continues to help pit bulls/pit bull mixes find loving homes, we regretfully request that adopters not bring those dogs to the picnic and risk an incident and a citation. Next year we will seek an alternate location for our picnic where all our adopters and their pets can come celebrate.

This annual event was originally launched by Heart of America Humane Society as a way to reunite foster animals with their foster parents and raise money to help support adoption the activities of The Heart of America Humane Society. It is really a social gathering for animals and animal lovers.
