Helping Animals, the newsletter of the Heart Of America Humane Society, updates readers on upcoming events, latest happenings, humane society needs, and other relevant information.
Due to printing and mailing costs, we are only able to issue our newsletter electronically.
Naturally, some of the information in the newsletter will become outdated, or
occasionally the information may change due to developments beyond our control.
In most cases, the material in the newsletter can also be found elsewhere on our web site (under such headings as "Events," "How To Help," etc.).
Information on our Web site is the most up-to-date. As you read our newsletter, if you notice some discrepancies and have questions,
please do not hesitate to call us at 1-800-384-3143 or
email us
for the very latest information.
As we obtain email addresses of the friends and members or Heart of America Humane Society, we will begin sending our newsletter to you electronically (which will save printing and mailing costs). At some point in the future we hope to be able to email our newsletters to most of our members, and by doing so can send them more frequently with the most current information.
| Subscribe to our new mailing list and receive announcements and the next issue of our newsletter by e-mail. |

Many donations come from people who would like to honor someone for their efforts within the origination.
There are other donations that come from people who would like to make a donation instead of a gift to that other person.
Some donations come from people who have lost someone dear, either a two- or four-footed friend.
Memorial donations are typically highlighted inside our "Helping Animals" newsletter, as another way of remembering our pals.
